WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
Starting at the age of 2, I grew up as a studio trained dancer. I studied jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, even clogging (ya thats right…clogging!). I was a member of the competition team for 10 years and was also a part of the dance program at my high school. For the past 5 years, I have taught dance to kids ages 2-16. I absolutely love working with kids, especially when I can share my passion of dance!
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
I decided to audition for DCC for several reasons. First and foremost, I absolutely love to perform, and what better platform than the field at AT&T stadium! Secondly, I’ve always admired the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for being such well-rounded women, and I knew I wanted to be a part of a world-class, iconic squad.
IF YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING TO COWBOYS FANS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
Thank you for your support, loyalty, energy, and for being the BEST fans to our entire Cowboys organization.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
DO NOT GIVE UP. It took me 5 tries to make this team! If you don’t make it your first year, evaluate it, learn from it, and come back even stronger… be a SMART dancer. Preparation and confidence are the two key points in this audition process. Most importantly…stay positive and believe in yourself. Go after your dream!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC?
This entire process has been rewarding in so many ways. I have grown tremendously as a person and as a dancer. By far the most rewarding part is the friendships I have made along the way. I have never felt so supported in my entire life, and my teammates will always be my sisters!
