WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR? Getting lost. I hate not knowing where I am going and I use google maps religiously!
WHAT IS AN EMBARRASSING MOMENT? When I started student teaching with 3rd grade I was technically still in college and so the first day of school in the classroom I brought my backpack. I overheard the not so small third graders whisper to each other, “Our teacher is wearing a backpack”. Needless to say I started bringing a teacher bag ever since!
WHO IS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL PERSON IN YOUR LIFE? My parents. My mother is the reason I started to dance when she enrolled me in classes at the age of three. She made sure I was at every practice in the middle of her job as teacher and taking care of two kids. My dad has always taught me the importance of dedication and leadership in whatever you do and that is the reason I have been dancing for over 20 years. They have supported me at every recital, game, and performance they could attend and will always be my number one fans!

WHAT IS THE MOST EMBARRASING SONG ON YOUR IPOD RIGHT NOW? I actually do not have an iPod or keep music storage on my phone. I always pull up Pandora or listen to the radio. The most embarrassing playlist that sometimes pops up is kids bop because I will use it for my class or a dance class!
WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE? Eating raw cookie dough!
WHAT WOULD BE YOUR SUPER POWER? To read people’s minds
FINISH THIS STATEMENT: I am most proud of…. My family. Everyone in my family has overcome a lot to get the where they are today. I am especially proud of my uncle who served in the army for over 10 years and did two tours in Iraq. I am so proud to say I know and cherish someone who has put their life on the line for our incredible country. He now has a beautiful wife, kids, and a new little baby girl. I love seeing his happiness and knowing it was not easy to get the life he now loves and enjoys. His commitment, perseverance, and bravery are all things that makes my family and myself extremely proud of him.
WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE? I started dancing at a studio for ten years when I was three. I was a part of middle school, high school, and college dance teams where I held leadership positions in each one. Last year I cheered for a pre-professional football team in Mesquite, Texas. I have been a dance teacher, choreographer, and dance company employee for the last six years.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC? I wanted to contribute all the skills that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders uphold because I believed I too possess those skills of confidence, dedication, professionalism, and having communication skills. I wanted to contribute my communication and people skills by reaching others. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have the ability and image to affect those around them. Mostly I wanted to audition to inspire others by going for their dreams, never giving up, and trusting all things are possible with faith.
IF YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING TO COWBOYS FANS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? I would tell the fans that “I truly appreciate your dedication and commitment to this organization”. Cowboys fans are definitely one of a kind. They never give up on their team and they always cheer the boys on till the end of every game. They always show their Dallas pride and wear cowboys apparel and wear with pride!
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC? Never give up. If I would not have picked myself up again, used a determined spirit, and the perseverance I had I would not have become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. Just because you do not succeed the first time doesn’t mean to quit. Never give up on your dreams and persevere through the hardships, because it is so worth it to fight for what you want.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC? I love the influence I feel that I have around fans. I remember meeting the DCC for the first time and admiring and looking up to them in hopes to have that same influential presence one day. I want to inspire everyone to have a dream no matter what it is and strive to attain that dream and have the confidence and dedication it will take to get them there.
