Another off-season in the books, another big-name, big-money free agent signing for the Redskins, who inked Haynesworth to a contract that will pay him $48 million over the next four seasons. He can be dominant at times, though. Maybe his presence pushes to the next level a defense that has been ranked in the league's top 10 the last two seasons.

Despite plenty of athleticism at receiver, what's really been lacking is a consistent passing game, which falls on the shoulders of Jason Campbell, now in his fifth season. Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts are one of the game's best one-two punches in the backfield. Chances are the offense makes strides in Zorn's second year. He should be past the transition from quarterback coach to head boss, and his system will be better understood by the players.

2009 Headliners:
DT Albert Haynesworth - A real live grizzly bear inside, but he hasn't played more than 14 games since his rookie year in 2002.
RB Clinton Portis - Had the best first half of any running back last season, with 944 yards and seven touchdowns through the first nine games.
QB Jason Campbell - With the deep speed Washington has in Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El, the Redskins need him to boost his career average of 6.4 yards per attempt.
