| After head coach Lane Kiffin was dumped four games into the 2008 season, Al Davis handed the silver-and-black reins over to offensive line coach Tom Cable, who finished the year as head coach and had interim removed from his title this off-season. He'll have his work cut out for him, as the Raiders have finished each of the last six seasons with at least 11 losses.
All those losing seasons have equipped the Raiders with a number of highly-touted draft picks, some of whom have worked out and some who haven't. Last year's No. 4 overall pick Darren McFadden looks like a keeper if he can stay healthy, but 2007 No. 1 pick JaMarcus Russell will need to show improvement if the Raiders are to get out of the cellar in the next few years. Could Jeff Garcia take his job?
