Cowboys Expected To Sign Veteran Offensive Tackle Leading Into Training Camp

FRISCO, Texas– As training camp approaches, the Cowboys are expected to sign veteran offensive tackle Cameron Bradfield this week after they create an opening on their 90-man roster.

Undrafted in 2011, Bradfield has started 27 of 41 career games at left and right tackle over four seasons with the Jaguars. He went to training camp with the Cardinals last year but was released in September and did not play the 2015 season.

Bradfield was among a handful of free agents who had a scheduled workout with the Cowboys in June.

Last year's swing tackle, Charles Brown, re-signed with Dallas on a one-year deal in March. Chaz Green, the team's 2015 third-round pick, will also compete for the primary backup tackle spot after spending most of his rookie season recovering from offseason hip surgery.
