After Missing Last Two Games, Lance Dunbar Back To Work On A Limited Basis

FRISCO, Texas – Dez Bryant is moving closer to a return, and the offense could be getting another dynamic contributor back soon.

Running back Lance Dunbar said he went through individual drills in practice Monday after sitting out the last two games with tendinitis in his right knee.

"Felt pretty good," Dunbar said. "Excited to get back out there."

Dunbar was unsure if he'd return this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but the bye week gave him a few days' extra rest.

The fifth-year veteran has returned healthy this season after a long rehab with the team athletic trainers to recover from last year's torn ACL and patellar tendon in his left knee.

In four games, he has five catches for 56 yards and five carries for 9 yards as a change-of-pace back behind starter Ezekiel Elliott.

"I haven't practiced in a couple weeks so I need the work," Dunbar said. "I need to get out there and get back in the groove of things, the feel of things, and get out there and practice before I play. There's where the game is won -- in practice."
