OXNARD, Calif. – The Cowboys have waived/injured cornerback
The team signed Zach Minter, who was an undrafted free agent out of Montana State in 2013, on Thursday. Minter signed with the Chicago Bears after last year’s draft and spent time on both the practice squad and active roster through November. He played in two games, recording no stats, during his time with the Bears.
The Bengals signed Minter on Dec. 20 last season, and he remained with them up until his release last week, on Aug. 8. Minter played in Cincinnati’s preseason win against Kansas City last week, but he did not record any stats.
Minter was a two-time All-Big Sky player for Montana State, where he started in 40 of his 44 career games and made 188 career tackles with 31.5 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks.
The Cowboys signed Lindsey last week as an emergency option for their ailing secondary. Fellow cornerbacks
