So Far: Bass has looked impressive in camp thus far and has earned a reputation as a high-energy, high-motor guy. He fought through linemen in Sunday’s Blue-White Scrimmage and he has also looked good in one-on-one drills.
Best Asset: Bass claims that defensive line coach, Brian Baker, describes him as “slippery.” He believes that he can read plays and read blocks very quickly and he is working on making plays as quickly as he reads them.
You Should Know: Bass understands there’s a rookie transition period, but he does not feel like his competition is on a different level than him. He says, “it’s not like I’m less physical than them. They’re not so much stronger than me.”
