The most notable is wide receiver Anthony Armstrong, a four-year veteran who spent a few weeks with the Cowboys this past season before getting cut in mid-December. He has top-end speed and will likely benefit from a full offseason to learn the Cowboys’ system.
Other players who are back include long snapper Charley Hughlett, who had a good training camp and might even compete for the job depending on what the Cowboys do with veteran
The Cowboys also brought back up tight end Colin Cochart, who spent a week with the team early this season when
Veteran free agency doesn’t begin until early March.
