Williams (6-2, 212) ran a 4.52 at the combine last February.
Williams had a breakout season in 2012, catching 97 passes for 1,882 yards and 18.9 yards per catch with 12 touchdowns. A finalist for the Biletnikoff Award for the nation’s top receiver, Williams is the third receiver from Baylor taken in the early rounds the last two years. Teammate Kendal Wright was a first-round pick of Tennessee last year and Josh Gordon was a second-round Supplemental Draft pick of the Browns last summer.
A graduate of W.T. White High School in Dallas, Williams spent five years at Baylor, starting as a redshirt in 2008. He improved his stats every season, including 43 catches for 484 yards as a sophomore and 59 for 957 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2011 with Robert Griffin III as the quarterback.
