Moore has playing experience with the Patriots, who used in their nickel defense for most of the games this season. He was waived on Oct. 31 but re-signed to the practice squad. Last year, Moore played in nine games, including three in the playoffs. He has experience both at cornerback and safety.
For the Cowboys, he’ll likely be used on special teams, but could have a role in the nickel defense if he’s active.
The season is over for Bass, who had quite a journey to just stick around with the Cowboys, who invited him to participate in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis only. Bass was impressive enough to get signed to the 90-man roster but stuck around and made it to the practice squad and then the 53-man roster after ![]()
