Holloman was evaluated by the Cowboys’ medical team on Monday, but the second-year linebacker is seeking further examination.
During Tuesday’s press conference at Valley Ranch, head coach Jason Garrett chose not to reveal the initial results of Holloman’s evaluation Monday.
Last year, Holloman played the first six games of the regular season before a neck injury sidelined him for seven straight games. The Cowboys liked what they saw in the rookie enough to keep him on the 53-man roster with hopes he would contribute down the stretch.
