(Editor's Note: Each day we will take the 2 best questions for our staff writers to answer from the Mailbag. "Click here" to email questions now.)

CHRIS BURKE, AUSTIN, TX: I've heard it said many times that Roy Williams just needs more time to learn the offense. That really concerns me. How can Daunte Culpepper run the Lions offense (as pathetic as it is) after sitting out half a season and only being with the team two weeks, yet it takes Roy more than a month to learn pass patterns he's run his entire life?

Mickey: Well evidently you are being misinformed. I don't think you're read any of that nonsense on this website. Roy Williams knows the offense well enough to be productive. Just not sure what you are expecting. If Jas Witten is going to catch like seven to 10 passes a game and Terrell Owens is doing the same, and you run the ball like 25 times or so, how many passes are left to go around to Williams, Patrick Crayton and Matellus Bennett. I mean if the guy didn't know the offense, he wouldn't be starting, right?

Rob: I don't think Williams is behind in the offense anymore. He's had six games, plus the bye week to get up to speed. His production (11 catches, 161 yards, 1 TD) isn't the same in Dallas but he's no longer the No. 1 option, either. With Romo healthy and well-protected, this is a pick-your-poison offense. We saw Terrell Owens and Jason Witten trade off as the team's leading receiver the past two games. Maybe Williams is due this week.

Nick: Please don't compare anything to the Lions and Culpepper. You answered it yourself by calling it pathetic. And who's to say that Roy is still learning the offense? He might not know the entire playbook, but he knows every single play that's placed into the weekly game plan. I think Roy has done well in his adjustment. The only thing that could be improved is the chemistry with Tony Romo. That can't be an overnight process. I think Roy will have a greater impact next year, but what he's providing this year is good enough.

ANTHONY JOHNSON, NEW CASTLE, PA: Don't you think Cowboys fans are being a little too cocky about beating lowly Seattle and San Francisco? I mean, sure Romo and the offense looked good, but the Seahawks moved the ball, they just couldn't get in the end zone. Barber still didn't have a 100-yard game in either of the two "victories", and let's be honest, neither of those two teams have a defense like Pittsburgh's. I don't see Dallas scoring a touchdown, let alone winning Sunday.

Mickey: Now what you say is accurate, but I'd take the bet on the Cowboys scoring at least one touchdown. This game will come down to how well the Cowboys offense is able to handle the Pittsburgh defense and if the offense takes care of the football. Remember, while Marion Barber might not have rushed for 100 yards again either of those Sisters of the Poor they played in the past two games, Romo threw for more than 300 yards and both times they totaled more than 400 yards. And if I remember accurately, Barber only played half the game, if that, against Seattle. The Steelers don't score many points on their own, basically leaching off their defense. So if you don't turn the ball over a bunch of times against them, you will be in the game. See Philly winning, 15-6, and the Giants winning, 21-14. Both teams figured out how to win without gaining more than 282 yards.

Rob: You might be mistaking cockiness for growing confidence. At least that's the way the players seem to feel. Many have talked about getting their swagger back. You're right, two of those wins came against poor teams, but they played pretty well across the board and never really let San Francisco and Seattle hang around. The same couldn't be said against the Redskins and Bengals back in September-October. A three-game winning streak is big, no matter who it's against, and don't forget that those three wins have improved their conference record to 6-4. That's huge in such a crowded playoff race.

Nick: Good to see some Steelers fans joining the mailbag. First off, be careful to diminish any "victories" in this league. Last I checked, the Steelers haven't exactly been whipping the elite teams en route to a 9-3 mark. You play who's on the schedule and you beat them. Unlike the college game, the best teams will get the chance to show what it can do at the end of the year. And yes, Pittsburgh has a really good defense. Much better than the 49ers and Seahawks. That's why the Cowboys probably won't put 35 on them. But to think the Cowboys won't score a touchdown seems like a stretch. And the way the Steelers have played offensively at times, they may not need more than one or two. Obviously, the game will come down to turnovers. It always does. But if neither team turns the ball over, the Cowboys will win. Pittsburgh won't win this game without creating turnovers.
