AGUSTIN ALVARADO - MEXIA, TX: Do you think Wade Phillips should challenge Terence Newman to lock down DeSean Jackson on Sunday night?
Josh: Sure, why not. It's worked against Steve Smith and Santana Moss, why can't it work against Jackson? Those seem to be the kind of guys Newman excels against. Of course if he is asked to shadow Jackson the Cowboys will still provide him some safety help anyway.
Nick: Not really. I think there should be times when Newman follows him around for a little bit, but I would do the same with Jenkins. I would mix it up to the point that makes it hard for the Eagles to adjust. If I'm the Cowboys, I stay proactive in how they cover the Eagles receivers.
Rob: Yes, and that's no knock on Mike Jenkins because he's playing very well. But Newman likes these challenges and does a good job when he's asked to shadow someone, a la Steve Smith. Maybe not for the whole game this week, but I'm sure he'd be up for it in stretches.
ERIC BENDER - DENVER, CO: This question goes back to training camp when there seemed to be a lot of hype and excitement over how dangerous our two tight end set would be. Why hasn't that threat really emerged so far? Martellus Bennett has the skills, but neither he nor Jason Witten have the kind of production we expected.
Josh: I just think Witten is getting so much attention from defenses it's making Tony Romo look elsewhere. And if we really look at all the passing plays called, Bennett doesn't have too many chances to catch balls since he's asked to pass block so often. There's some versatility in that personnel grouping, and we may see a game when Bennett is more involved. They're doing good things running the ball with those guys in the game, by the way.
Nick: I just think we all thought Bennett would be more of a focus on offense and he hasn't been. There haven't been many plays - maybe a handful at best - where Bennett has been the No. 1 receiver on a particular play. As for Witten, I think teams early in the season have made it a priority to keep him from going off. But if Austin continues his hot streak, then maybe it will open up things in the middle more for him.
Rob: Witten has faced a lot of bracket coverage and Bennett just hasn't been featured that much, to be honest. It has been surprising, but if Miles Austin keeps playing well it should help both players. They've done a good job blocking in the running game and sometimes staying in to protect Tony Romo.
