ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens was a popular target for the media following the team's practice here Wednesday at the Broncos' facility.

Owens discussed battling the Broncos defense, despite the absence of injured cornerback Champ Bailey. T.O. also talked about facing a new team, his comparisons to Brandon Marshall and the recent comments made by former Eagles teammate Donovan McNabb.

What are your thoughts on facing Broncos cornerback Dre Bly?

Owens: He's a really good player. He's one of the best out there. I've faced him before when I was in Philly and other places, so I know what I'm going to get when I go up against him. Each guy is different and you have to just go accordingly.

What are your thoughts on Donovan McNabb's comments about your maturity and your new appreciation for your situation?

Owens: I love my situation here. Other than that, things that happened in Philly, it happened three years ago. I don't know what the deal is with me being in the news, from him. I'm happy where I'm at. I'm scoring touchdowns. I've scored just as many touchdowns in just about as many games with Tony as I did with him. So, I don't know what the problem is.

Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall has been dubbed "Baby T.O." Is that fair?

Owens: I don't know for whatever reason that is, but obviously he's a big talented receiver. I take that as a compliment if nothing else.

What do you like about his guy?

Owens: He's a big receiver. He's very aggressive. He'll go get the ball. He can make things happen once he gets the ball in his hands. They have a good guy in Brandon. He'll be a guy that will be around for a while.

Is this a cat-and-mouse game out here with the Broncos, not trying to show too much in practice?

Owens: Well, we just go out here to get our timing down. Obviously, game-time will be different than practice and the tempo will be picked up. Other than that, I don' think it's a game of cat-and-mouse. It's just us trying to get better.

Did you feel the altitude out here at all?

Owens: A little bit. But it's good. And it's good that we'll be here for a couple of days before we actually play. I think it'll be a plus to get acclimated to the climate.

Is it nice to see a new team out there?

Owens: Yeah, it's always good. This is no different than any team across the league. We're practicing against each other one a day, two a days and your first preseason game. We've got our first taste against other teams the other day, and we're just trying to get a head start to what we're going to face on Saturday.

Are you disappointed that Champ Bailey is not practicing?

Owens: No, not all. I wish I was out there just chitchatting with him a little bit.
