WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I started dancing at the age of 2, which resulted in 14 years of competitive dancing. I was an officer on my high school drill team, leading me to become a Kilgore College Rangerette and Swingster of the 74th line. I taught high school level classes at a studio throughout college and now I'm in my second year as a Drill Team Assistant Director at a local high school.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
I decided to try out after I saw the DCC in person at the Cotton Bowl in 2014. I always dreamed of becoming a DCC but never thought it was achievable until I saw them in person and it became a goal. I admire their sisterhood, servitude, dance ability, poise, and beauty. I wanted to be an ambassador for America's team and wear the iconic uniform.
IF YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING TO COWBOYS FANS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
Y'all are the best fans in the NFL, and are the most important part of the organization. I love getting to cheer you on while we all support America's team.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
To absolutely never give up on your dreams, and never belittle yourself into thinking that becoming a DCC is unreachable. With hard work, dedication, and passion you can do anything. Walt Disney once said, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to purse them."
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC?
Being a part of an organization that sees beyond itself is truly remarkable. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders reach out and serve the community, the armed forces, children and charities, on top of cheering on America's team. To find a team that has such a big heart, creates an incredible sisterhood sharing the same values and dreams. I love getting to dance next to such amazing women, and be inspired by each and every one of them.
