WHAT IS AN EMBARRASSING MOMENT?
I am a former NBA dancer and during one of our dances I had to quickly squat down then jump out into a hair flip. I squatted down, jumped out to execute a huge hair flip, and felt a sharp pain on my head. I looked down and at my feet was one of my hair extensions laying in the middle of the court. I had stepped on my hair and then flipped up so hard that I had ripped the extension straight off my head. Thankfully I managed to swipe the extension and hide it in my pocket for the rest of the dance.

WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I started rhythmic gymnastics when I was 5 years old and competed until I was 13. The summer before high school I took a dance class for fun and fell in love. That fall I joined the competition team Xtreme Dance Force. I competed with Xtreme for five years. I then went on to dance two years for the Saint Louis University Saintsations, followed by one season with the Chicago Bulls dance team The Luvabulls.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
While on the Saintsations, I had the opportunity to dance, support my school, and create strong bonds with my teammates. I loved every second of that experience! After my time at Saint Louis University I knew that I wanted to continue dancing, represent an organization that was bigger than myself, and create lifelong friendships. I did research on different professional dance teams and the organization that stood out to me was the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. That is when I decided to audition for DCC.
IF YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING TO COWBOYS FANS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
I would like to say, thank you Cowboys Nation for the constant support and enthusiasm! You all are the most dedicated energetic fans in the NFL! Let's go cowboys!!!!
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
My advice for someone who dreams of being a DCC would be to do everything in your power to be the best version of yourself. Set your goal and then go for it full force. You'll never regret giving it your all, especially in this process. Dance as much as you can, study everything Cowboys, stretch, prioritize nutrition and fitness, remember all the training is an investment in yourself, and most importantly believe that you can!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC?
What I like most about being part of DCC is the sisterhood. From my current teammates to the alumnae, every woman in this organization truly cares for one another. I feel like I have been welcomed into a huge family!
