WHAT IS YOUR DANCING BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE?
I grew up dancing competitively at a dance studio in Plano, Texas. After high school, I attended the University of South Carolina where I received my degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. During my college years, I danced with a local professional company and trained with San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. After graduation, I moved to New York City where I experienced the world of professional dance. I continued training at Broadway Dance Center where I was lucky enough to get representation from Clear Talent Group. I starred in music videos, tv appearances and performances around the city. Soon after, I booked a show in Guam as a dancer and magic assistant. Upon my return, I travelled the country as a dancer in various shows including 'Cirque Le Noir', Broadway’s ‘The Illusionists’ World Tour, and ‘The Magic of Adam Trent’. After my contract ended, I decided to move home and pursue my dream of becoming a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO AUDITION FOR DCC?
There are many reasons why I decided to audition to be a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. I have been a Cowboys fan my whole life. I have been dancing since I was 5. To dance on a field in front of thousands of people while cheering for my favorite team sounded like a dream!
IF YOU CAN SAY ANYTHING TO COWBOYS FANS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY?
I share your love and support for America’s Team. I look forward to seeing you at SUPER BOWL LIV!
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO DREAMS OF BECOMING A DCC?
If being a DCC is something you really want, don’t be afraid to go after it! Figure out what you need to do to be like a DCC, while still staying true to who you are. Turn your failures into motivation and always be prepared! Also, remember to be kind to yourself!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT BEING A PART OF DCC?
I LOVE the sisterhood and the excitement on game days! I also like being a relatable role model for girls trying to achieve their dreams. It’s okay to not be great at something. The important thing is to not let that discourage you, but encourage you!
