Since 2015, Kianna Cureaux has served as the Program Manager for Emergency Services at The Salvation Army's Mabee Center in Ft. Worth. She promotes the core values of the agency by serving individuals and families with dignity and respect. Even at a time when the number of families in shelter exceeded up to 3x normal capacity, Kianna continued to advocate for the families in shelter by seeking out supportive services throughout the community. During her tenure at The Salvation Army, former guests often stop by just to say hi and update Kianna on how they are doing, which shows the lasting impression she has had on the people she has helped along the way. Her commitment to the work is to be commended and we are grateful for all of her continued efforts in serving families experiencing homelessness in our community. Kianna's selfless work with The Salvation Army showcases what it means to live generously and that she is deserving of a "Crown."

Whether she is greeting a newcomer or catching up with a tenured client at one of the women's retreats, Christina goes above and beyond to deliver compassionate service. As the Emergency Shelter Lead Case Manager at The Salvation Army, Courtney Farr has been instrumental in managing shelter overflow and maintains rapport with various community partners and consistently demonstrates compassion, care, and respect for her clients. Most recently, she collaborated with Ft Worth ISD to help families with school enrollment and receiving uniforms for school-aged children – a project outside of her everyday roles. Courtney takes pride in her work and upholds organizational values by ensuring policy and procedures are implemented and that her team maintains professionalism and treats others with respect. Princess Vonleh-Duo

As the Program Manager at The Salvation Army's Arlington Family Center, Princess Vonleh-Duo consistently showcases her eager enthusiasm, leadership skills, and compassion for her clients. In the past year alone, Princess and her team have helped 90% of their current clients to transition from homelessness into stable housing and remain there. Additionally, she has led a team in converting the traditional food pantry services to a choice pantry. This change has been instrumental in meeting the community's food needs during economic uncertainty. The Arlington Salvation Army Choice Pantry, serves over 100 families every Tuesday, including more than 500 individuals. Princess and her team constantly meet & exceed human needs, restore dignity, and provide hope during a crisis. Princess truly embodies what it means to live generously and is deserving of a "Crown."

Tia is a proactive leader who demonstrates high flexibility and determination as Senior Manager for Shelter and Housing at The Mabee Center for individuals in Tarrant/Ellis County. In her role, Tia and her team consistently serve between 180-350 individuals nightly by providing vital services to meet community needs. Additionally, Tia and her team identify practical solutions to accommodate current high demand for those seeking shelter and case management services and collaborate with Tarrant County service providers to identify a workflow to move families out of TSA into longer-term programming, including transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent housing. Tia constantly evaluates her department's work and adjusts to ensure that client-focused services are a priority. Tia volunteers to work on holidays, weekends, and late nights to ensure that the needs of the participants are a priority. With her compassionate, kind demeanor Tia embraces each guest at the Mabee Center and is always happy to assist with meeting their needs. Tia is a true die-hard Cowboys fan, "That Deserves a Crown"!

Bera Calvert has volunteered with The Salvation Army for more than 20 years. From responding to several natural disasters to serving food during the holidays and volunteering with the Angel Tree Program, Bera and her husband have traveled across the country to help others. She and her husband of 61 years, Frank, define selflessness so much so that they've even volunteered on their wedding anniversary…twice. Bera truly embodies what it means to live generously.

Vincent Trevino has volunteered with The Salvation Army for more than a decade in numerous capacities. Most notably, Vincent is one of the top sellers for the 50/50 raffle on game days at AT&T Stadium that raises money for The Salvation Army. He arrives at every game with incredible enthusiasm and vigor to sell raffle tickets. In addition to raising funds for The Salvation Army, he is also heavily involved in recruiting volunteers and serves as a photographer at many events. In addition to finding housing for clients, she has also developed valuable partnerships with apartment communities in the Plano area to ensure others may be served.
