Resa Myhand is a volunteer for the children at The Mabee Center with The Salvation Army. Resa does an amazing job leading the children and volunteers through a special monthly event called Kids Nights that brings volunteers from Hope Worldwide to our Fort Worth Mabee Center each month, offering children experiencing homelessness a chance to connect through songs, crafts, activities, snacks, and worship. This summer, Resa and her husband went even further by leading and working alongside volunteers to run and facilitate a week-long free summer camp for all the children currently residing in our shelter and temporary housing. Resa has the ability to build trust with children through her compassion and positive attitude. It has inspired not only her fellow volunteers but also everyone at The Salvation Army. Thank you for all that you do, Resa, you are truly deserving of a crown!
