2013 Cowboys FA Additions
The Cowboys were rather dormant in free agency for the first two weeks of the signing period, but now have signed two free agents.

March 27, 2013 - The club signed linebacker Justin Durant and safety Will Allen.

Durant was originally drafted in the second round (48th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars out of Hampton.

He played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2007-2010.

In 2011 he signed with the Detroit Lions as a free agent.

In his six years, he has started 68-of-79 games and recorded 171 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, 14 pass breakups and one fumble recovery with two forced fumbles.

On March 27, 2013, the Cowboys were able to officially sign Durant to a two-year contract.

Allen was originally drafted in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay out of Ohio State.

He played six seasons with the Buccaneers from 2004-2009.

In 2010, Allen signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he played three years.

For his career, he has started 33-of-130 games played, recording 238 tackles, four interceptions and 11 pass breakups.
