On This Week: Defensive Domination

On this week in Dallas Cowboys history, led by a dominant defensive performance that included a season-high seven sacks of Kirk Cousins, the Cowboys defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 40-3, in Week 11 of 2022, the largest road margin of victory in Cowboys history. The 37-point difference was also the largest road win over a team 8-1 or better in the NFL since the 1970 merger, and it was the second-largest home loss in Vikings history. In addition, Dallas snapped Cousins' streak of 39 straight games with a touchdown pass, which had been the longest active streak in the NFL.

On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys offense was also in complete control. It was the first time in franchise history that the team had one running back score multiple rushing touchdowns (Ezekiel Elliott) and another running back score multiple receiving touchdowns (Tony Pollard) in the same game.
