Hey Cowboys Nation!
I am extremely grateful to be a part of this amazing team for a second year, and I can't wait to help you all cheer on the best team in the NFL alongside some of the best teammates I could ask for!
I'm from Dallas, TX, born and raised, so I've always been a Cowboys fan!
I graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, then completed my master's degree in Sport Psychology from the University of North Texas.
I plan to obtain my mental performance consulting certification in the near future and work with athletic teams to help athletes and teams be their best in the mental-performance aspect!
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of history, especially amongst a community that has so much love and passion for dance!
I'm so excited to grow in this space and learn things that I couldn't have learned anywhere else.
I'm endlessly grateful for my family and friends who have supported me throughout this process, and I'm so excited for you all to see what we've been working on for y'all!
Let's have an amazing season! #WeDemBoys!
Best,
DCRB Jadyn <3
Number of years on the team:
This is my second year on the team!
Prior Dance/Entertainment Industry Experience:
When I was an undergraduate at Texas Tech University, I was in the dance department studying movement quality, technique, and style.
As a graduate student, I attended the University of North Texas, where I danced for the school under the North Texas Dancers. While dancing primarily in a game-day style, we competed at NDA in Daytona, Florida, for Nationals each year.
Before and during these moments, I've been a backup dancer, performed in multiple Cowboys halftimes, and performed in self-choreographed pieces!
Nicknames:
My most popular nicknames are J and Jadyny!
Hometown:
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX!
I dance because:
I dance because it's my passion! Being able to escape to a place that is filled with so much love and creativity truthfully allows me to be me.
It's one of the oldest art forms to exist, with amazing new things to learn every time you're in a space.
What I like to do most besides dance is:
I like to read, listen to music, try new foods, and stay active the most! If I didn't dance, these things would take up my life!
I've always wanted to:
I've always wanted to become an actor! It seems so fun to play a character and grow with them as the series or movie continues!
Advice to Youngsters:
Never give up on yourself. Each day, you have to actively choose to be the best version of yourself!
My biggest role model is:
Besides my family, my biggest role model is Zendaya! I feel like she carries herself with such grace, yet she's also a great time to be around. I also admire her generosity and her attention to detail.
What I enjoy most about being a DCRB Dancer is:
What I enjoy most about being a DCRB dancer is the fact that I'm consistently surrounded by people who love dance and choose to be in this space!
It allows us to strive for our personal best and translate that to the fans and each other!
Favorite Cowboys player past or present:
It's so hard to pick my favorite player, but I would have to go with Bob Hayes, aka Bullet Bob!
Favorite Performer:
My favorite performer would have to be either Beyoncé, Tate McRae, or Charlize Glass!
Favorite Music:
I love almost every type of music, so this is hard, but currently I've been into pop, R&B, and reggae!
Favorite Quotes:
"There is nothing stronger than a soft soul." — JH Hard
The three guests I would invite to my fantasy dinner party are (dead or alive):
Michael Jackson, Zendaya, and Beyoncé!
Honorable mention: Barack Obama!
