As part of the Dallas Cowboys' ongoing commitment to the Arlington community, the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation supports programs and facilities that help young people thrive. Through strategic grantmaking and community partnerships, the Foundation invests in initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for youth throughout the City of Arlington.

The Foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of life for Arlington youth by supporting programs focused on:

  • Football and Athletics
  • Health and Wellness
  • Education
  • Arts and Culture

The Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation awards project and general operating support grants to qualified IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving youth in the City of Arlington. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to secure matching funds and show how their programs create meaningful community impact.

  • Will the program create measurable, meaningful, or lasting impact for Arlington youth?
  • Can your organization provide matching funds equal to the requested grant amount?
  • Are you able to provide all required materials outlined in the grant application?

Arlington ISD Back to School Kickoff

Arlington ISD Back to School Kickoff

The Annual Arlington ISD Back to School Kickoff presented by Gene and Jerry Jones Family Arlington Youth Foundation provides backpacks, supplies and other support to 10,000 children in need at AT&T Stadium to kickoff each school year. Students receive a complimentary school supplies, free immunizations, vision and dental services, haircuts and access to a robust resource fair.

Dallas Cowboys + Arlington ISD Art Program

The Dallas Cowboys and Arlington ISD Fifth + Eighth Grade Art Program at AT&T Stadium is presented by Whataburger and provides students an opportunity to tour the extensive Dallas Cowboys Art Collection at no cost in an effort to foster an appreciation of the arts. After their tour, each student creates a personal piece of art inspired by the stadium's art collection and has an opportunity to display their art at an end-of-school celebration and reception hosted by the Jones Family at AT&T Stadium in May.

AISD Senior Art Programming

AISD Senior Art Programming

Annually, the Art Program hosts a special recognition event at AT&T Stadium highlighting graduating seniors who completed the program as undergraduates. The celebration included a curated display of the seniors' artwork during a Cowboys regular season home game and an on-field moment with Mrs. Gene Jones, Arlington ISD Superintendent Dr. Matt Smith and Whataburger. Mrs. Jones gifted each student a commemorative coin to acknowledge their journey through the AISD Art Program. During a Spring art reception in May 2026, Mrs. Gene Jones and Charlotte Jones joined Whataburger in providing three scholarships - $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500 – to graduating seniors. Since its inception, the program has donated more than $60,000 in scholarships to students who have participated in the program during the tenure in AISD.
