Cowboys StoryLine: Fight to the Finish

So much emphasis has been placed on the end of games and even the half. Can the Cowboys improve on managing the way they finish the clock this week in Indy?

As much as the Cowboys struggled to run the ball last week, it might be the best path for success once again this week facing a Colts team that has problems stopping the run. Do the Cowboys open up the passing game or go back to the ground?

The blame game is predictably higher than most weeks and it's starting at the top, with a lot of criticism directed at the head coach, who accepts the blame every week. Now, the question is if he can get it turned around in a hurry.

One of the best players in the NFL last season and someone who dominated in training camp, George Pickens hasn't carried it over into the regular season, prompting the question what to do with him? Should the Cowboys see if he's got value or feed the ball to him more and try to turn his season around?

After a loss like that, the finger pointing is intense but there's plenty of blame to go around? The coach, the quarterback and who else should get some of this?

All week we've discussed how the Cowboys will flip the script and finally beat the Cardinals. But will it be by run, pass or another healthy mix of offensive balance?

With all these big trades happening that will affect the Cowboys upcoming schedule, should Dallas get into the mix and add some more help on defense? But it will take moving on from some of your offensive firepower? Or maybe they do nothing at all.

The Cowboys looked like a different team Monday night in Philly with the way they ran right over the Eagles, prompting all of us to wonder if this the start to a much-needed run on the schedule.

The Cowboys are facing an Eagles team that has barely gotten off the ground and seem even more wounded than Dallas. But can they take advantage? We discussed the keys to getting off to a good start and keeping the Eagles grounded.

Sure, the defense has been the problem for a while but lately the offense is lagging, too. So what's the problem there? We've identified a position that clearly isn't getting the job done.

The buzzword for this show was "identity" and if the Cowboys have one, do they need one, and how can they find it? Opinions varied on the subject but everyone seems to agree that playing better and winning games would certainly help this team's identity.

There's still 11 games left on the schedule so we've got plenty of times to fix the issues. The callers are tying to figure it out and came up with their own solutions, which includes running the call, moving Pickens around and more.

The blame game has too many options to pick just one but if you're talking about the offense, do the issues start with the play-calling, the quarterback or a combination of both?

Winning at Lambeau Field has been a challenge for the Cowboys over the years. Playing well on defense has been a challenge here recently. To win Sunday night, the Cowboys must change both narratives.

When the Cowboys take the field Sunday night at Lambeau, who do you want to see first? Want the offense to get off to an early lead or should we just start off with the defense to see what these changes will do?

We've seen the changes made with the coaching staff and now the focus shifts back to the players. One caller asked just how close the Cowboys are to turning this around and if they still need one or two players or still a big overhaul?

The Cowboys have given Christian Parker some help with a senior defensive assistant. Will this move be good enough to make the changes needed for this Cowboys defense?

The Cowboys have some extra time to make some adjustments but what is going to be different? While there is some outside talk of making some coaching staff changes on defense, the consensus seems to be that Christian Parker and his staff just needs more time.

As disappointing as Thursday's loss was to watch, the fan base was still reeling the next day, trying to figure out what went wrong and more importantly, where to go from here.

The Cowboys have no interceptions and just four sacks this year on defense, with an offense that has had some slow starts. Thursday's game with Tampa would be a great time to "buc" those trends.

The Cowboys have no other choice but to move on quickly with the short week. With another winless opponent coming to town, will the Cowboys have the same focus and intensity?

What a difference a week makes. Not only did we all get more sleep, but waking up to a win always make a for a fun day. The negative talk is limited on this day as we focus on the positive moments stemming from the win.

The Cowboys go down to Houston to face a desperate winless team but can they match the urgency, especially after the big trade for Joey Porter Jr. this week?

Good morning Cowboys fans, who woke up Thursday to the news of a trade for JPJ. The callers are ecstatic about Porter and now the question is - will he play Sunday?
