This is the final Mick Shots from the 2025 Cowboys training camp, the guys wrapping up what's been accomplished and what still needs to be settled with the first game now less than a month away when practice resumes at The Star. We'll all be back together on Monday morning.

Lots to talk about for the first day of August, the guys lending perspective on the Cowboys scheduled to work out former offensive lineman La'el Collins in the morning, comparing his age to Nate's career, and down playing Micah's supposedly considering asking for a trade.

After a restless night dealing with the tsunami advisory along the California coast, the guys got into the effects of a couple of injuries causing next guys up, then reviewing what the coordinators had to say on Tuesday afternoon, along with analyzing the offensive line, stopping the run and the running game.

First podcast of the week takes on the first padded practice, Jake Ferguson signing his extension, the sudden rash of injuries, still waiting on Micah and Nate wanting the third receiver candidates to step up.

Thanks to Nate we get a deep dive into second-year OT Tyler Guyton, what he thought of what Nater has said about him while looking for more advice. Then a closer look at Solomon Thomas, Kenneth Murray and the importance of the defensive line play.

Mick Shots kicks off the training camp podcasts, the guys setting the tone for what will take place here in Oxnard. Then on to Micah Parsons and contract concerns, a react to the camp opening press conference and then the positions of concern Part I, with Part II on Thursday.

The boys do a good job of wrapping things up on the final Mick Shots of the offseason, preparing for the three-day minicamp starting on Tuesday, anticipating the arrivals of Micah Parsons and Travon Diggs, then drift into the cornerback position, a deep dive into Jaiir Elam, Michael Irvin's impression on practice and what to look for at the start of training camp that's six weeks away.

The Cowboys enjoyed a great Alumni Day at Friday's OTA practice, where former players were invited to attend the team meeting, position meetings and watch practice, plus interact with the current players. Well, Everson Walls provides great insight into just what that day was like and giving his impressions of the practice on today's show.

Leading off after Memorial Day, the guys review last week's OTA practices and another round coming up this week, while disputing a ridiculously low ranking given QB Dak Prescott, obviously ignoring the great year he had in 2023. Then Everson's assessment of rookie corner Shavon Revel, a review of the entire cornerback position and sizing up the defensive line.

With the NFL Draft just three days away the guys play a game of "would ya" with the Cowboys No. 12 pick, starting with maybe trading down, to taking a running back, a wide receiver, a cornerback, defensive end and linebacker. And have no qualms about taking a mid-round quarterback.

With the NFL Draft nye upon us, the guys got serious about some position specifics on what the Cowboys could do at No. 12, also analyzing the QB position, wide receivers and cornerbacks as the Cowboys began Phase I of their voluntary offseason program on Monday.

While Bill and Mickey dive into Bill's "Big Green Notebook" dealing with the upcoming draft, they also dive into another book: "Danny White Spotlights and Shadows," the former Cowboys quarterback joining the show to talk about his new book dealing not only with his career but with his family life in a joint effort with his daughter Heather.
