Mick Shots: Dak Watch
Here comes the first look at what Dak Prescott was able to do during the early part of practice open to the media, along with Mike McCarthy's update on his physical condition and just who they are preparing to start against the Eagles. Deeper dive into what Dak needs to be able to do to play and comparing what the 4-1 Cowboys have done to the 5-0 Eagles start.
Mick Shots: Shooting Straight
As was discussed the other day, this Odell Beckham Jr. dalliance was going to come down to how soon he'd be available play. The Cowboys were skeptical about this season, so for now they have moved on. But keep an eye on James Washington, plus Tyron Smith back in practice and another stat bringing Everson's career into light.
Mick Shots: Tuesday's Best
Such great insight, Everson is back with his take on the victory over the Colts, then the guys jump in with how cautious the Cowboys must be with this OBJ dalliance. Plus, Nate couldn't help from barging in with his last word on OBJ. And finally, Nate and Everson bring great inside info on Coach Prime to Colorado and the transfer portal.
Mick Shots: Sunday Takeaways
Might have taken some time, but once the Cowboys got rolling Sunday night, they steamrolled the Colts in the fourth quarter. Bill and Mickey talk about some of the turning points in the game, the Cowboys ability to put pressure on Matt Ryan, the play of a few rookies, the loss of Anthony Brown and what it might take to actually sign OBJ.
Mick Shots: Proper Perspectives
Putting Sunday's game against the Colts into proper perspective, and then also the Monday meeting with Odell Beckham Jr., what the Cowboys will be mindful when deciding what they might offer him. Then some Nate Newton on the Colts offensive line, but also the inability to protect Matt Ryan. Of course, keys to victory, picks to click and what's the scores.
Mick Shots: Concerns Galore
Making sure to cover all bases today, including bringing in radio voice of the Cowboys Brad Sham, the guys voiced concerns about the Colts, the Cowboys returning after the mini-bye, the illness continuing to spread through this team and Bill's rant about the College Football Playoff schedule. Updates on James Washington, Anthony Barr and Tyron Smith.
Mick Shots: Roster Churning
Adding a wide receiver to the practice field, subtracting a defensive end and Tyron getting close. The Cowboys making the right call on Tyler Smith and beware the Colts, especially the defense, having held the Eagles to just 17 points. And a PSA from Mickey when having to renew your Texas driver license.
Mick Shots: Go Time
After winning two of three games in a 12-day period to reach 8-3, it's time for the Cowboys to make hay, playing three consecutive games against teams with losing records. But they must take care of all these penalties. And then there is the wide receiver position, how good it's become and how much better it might become.
Mick Shots: One Last Look
With no show on Friday after the Cowboys 28-20 victory over the Giants on Thanksgiving, the guys looked back one last time and what stood out in the game, especially the running of Ezekiel Elliott, Dak's second half performance, the overall defensive effort minus the Giants late garbage touchdown and picks that didn't click. Then, time to move on to the Colts.
Mick Shots: Thanksgiving Day Game Ready
Up to the minute injury report, especially on the Giants decimated offensive line and then the illness striking the Cowboys defensive front. After that, Thanksgiving Day game memories of Everson and past memorable holiday games. And of course, picks and picks to click. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Mick Shots: Special Team
Can this Cowboys team be special? And how special is their kicker, Brett Maher. And how special was this defense after that falloff in Green Bay. Also, another comprehensive injury report, especially with a flu bug hitting the locker room, causing several players to miss practice with "illness," and the latest on meeting with OBJ.
Mick Shots: Cowboys Stampede
In the true spirit of the old fight song, the Cowboys did stage a stampede in Minnesota, orchestrating a dominating win over the Vikings thanks to both lines, offensive and defensive, dominating in the game, along with Micah Parsons and Tony Pollard. Then there was Trevon Diggs dominating Justin Jefferson and Dak having a field day, not to mention Maher's perfection.
Mick Shots: Ready To go
Earliest pregame show for Cowboys-Vikings on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium, starting with an injury report and then the Cowboys having to deal with not only Justin Jefferson but also Dalvin Cook. Also, about how dominate the Vikings have been in fourth quarters in those close shaves in seven of their eight wins. Of course, picks and picks to click.
Mick Shots: Bill's Back

Also got into a little snow updates for the northern teams, how the Cowboys offense, despite the loss to Green Bay, had one of its best performances of the season.
Mick Shots: Time To Move On
But before we do that, one last look at the Packers game, how the Cowboys didn't pay attention to detail, both on defense and offense, analyzing a couple of key plays. Pointing out the remarkable special teams performance of Luke Gifford and then getting on to the Vikings, looking closely at their wide receiver Justin Jefferson, NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Mick Shots: Handymen
With help from what DQ and Jerry Jones had to say in the aftermath of the 31-28 overtime loss to the Packers on Sunday, Everson, Mickey and Nate coming out of the bullpen again try to fix what is ailing the Cowboys defense, especially when defending the run, because 28 points should be enough to win a game.
Mick Shots: Run Down
The Cowboys had only themselves to blame for the 31-28 loss to Green Bay in overtime. They knew the Packers were going to run the ball, and no matter what else took place in the game, the Packers ability to run the ball drove the Cowboys out of town. And then were some so highly questionable officiating decisions.
Mick Shots: Packer Time
Title Town, here come the Cowboys, ready for the weather, the grass field and the mystique of Lambeau Field, the guys also taking a walk down Cowboys-Packers memory lane, especially those NFL Title games in 1966 and 1967, and how few players are still with the Cowboys since last beating the Packers in 2016. And for sure, picks to click.
Mick Shots: Ground Covered
Name the topic, the guys covered it today, starting with Bill reading a passage about Everson in Jimmy's new book, "Swagger," to an injury report for both teams, to Aaron Rodgers thoughts about Mike McCarthy, and not to mention Mike's 59th birthday today. Add in Cowboys history at Lambeau, Dak's win there and McCarthy Way.
Mick Shots: Jimmy Swagger
What started with an injury report turned into comprehensive talk about Jimmy Johnson once Nate Newton joined Everson, Bill and Mickey after Bill gave a quick synopsis of Jimmy's new book, "Jimmy Swagger," with Everson, Nate, Mickey and Bill providing some first-hand accounts of having dealt with Jimmy during his time with the Cowboys.

Also, the many factors going into the potential signing of free agent Odell Beckham Jr.
Mick Shots: Call-In Intensive
Celebrating the bye week by inviting calls, always inviting a few surprises, like one guy calling Bill "funny," another referring to Everson as "Emmerson" and Mickey unable to resist setting the father of this week's special contributor Jess to "politely" reconsider dogging linebacker Leighton Vander Esch. Also explaining the Cowboys non-trade deadline action.
Mick Shots: Trade Watch
With the changed-up lineup, Jess joining Bill and Mickey, they remained on trade watch for much of the show. What might need to happen, position upgrades needed and what was going on in the league with the 3 p.m. deadline approaching. Also an update on what some of the offensive assistant coaches had to say about their particular positions.
Mick Shots: Offense Matters
With Dak back, was time for this offense to kick it in gear against the Bears, and boy did the Cowboys, scoring 49 points, and been a while since they have started off back-to-back seasons at 6-2. Running back talk, of course, and how the Cowboys survived with so many young guys stepping up, including the return of rookie Damone Clark.
