The annual ESPYS nominations have been announced, no surprise Cowboys' 2016 rookie sensations Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott are up for two of the top awards.

Elliott is nominated for the Best NFL Player after being the first rookie to capture the rushing title since 1999 rushing for a league-best 1,631 yards. He is up against some of the biggest names in the NFL including Tom Brady and Matt Ryan.

After leading the Cowboys to a 13-3 record Prescott is nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete. The 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year is up against new stars such as US Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and the NBA's Giannis Antetokounmpo.
