Camp Captures: Monday melee with big hits but big injuries

OXNARD, Calif. – The second day of pads brought more intensity and physicality than any other practice of training camp so far. Multiple hits from the defense and some pushing and shoving early in the team periods highlighted a tough day to wrap up a three-day stretch of practices.

Some highlights included a deep completion from Dak Prescott to George Pickens for a touchdown, another efficient day from Jake Ferguson at tight end, and an active practice for the linebackers. Unfortunately, the lowlight of practice came when second-year offensive tackle Tyler Guyton went down with an apparent leg injury. He walked off the field on his own power but was escorted by the training staff to the locker room.
