"Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team" – Episode Seven: Big Time Dance

It's Week Four of training camp, and there are still 44 girls left at training camp. Meaning eight more girls must be cut.

The fourth week kicks off with a huge surprise! Kelli Finglass brings in Emmy Award winning choreographer Travis Wall, who choreographs for the TV show "So You Think You Can Dance." He is a really big deal in the dance community, so needless to say, everyone freaked out.

Travis teaches the girls a contemporary dance that is a little out of some of the girls' wheelhouses. He's looking to see who can learn and perform with emotion. He also watches the girls perform some of their game-day sideline routines to provide feedback to Kelli and Judy Trammell on who he could see actually making this team.

To help prevent injuries, the girls participate in an innovative class that not only works them out, but helps dancers become aware of their bodies. This is vital to make it through training camp and a full football season.

It's time for show group auditions at the world-renowned Gilley's Dallas. Show group is a hand-selected group of around 16 of the best dancers on the team. These women get to participate in some of the best performances that a DCC can be a part of, including the USO Tour. It's a very exclusive group and a huge honor.

During the audition, the girls will perform the signature dance with kick line, a hip-hop routine, the contemporary piece that Travis Wall choreographed, and tricks across the floor to shine and show their talents. Kelli, Judy and the rest of the judges will be looking for skill, showmanship and stage presence.

Not only do show group auditions tell whether a girl can make show group or not, they can help determine whether a girl is fit for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, which is even more important. Veterans will earn their spots back on show group, new vets will join, and several rookies will make it as well.

On the last night of the week, on a cut night, Denise Dicharry is brought in to be a guest choreographer and teach a new sideline dance. Denise watches the other DCC sideline routines and sits in on office visits to help Kelli and Judy make their cut.

Who will be the second cut of the season?

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on CMT.
