He will have to impress the coaches throughout training camp to prove he deserves meaningful snaps during the season.

So Far:During the rookie pre-camp in Dallas last week, Hanna was the primary tight end and got valuable reps within the offense. At times he's struggled catching the ball, but has seemed to show a solid awareness of the responsibilities within the offense.

Best Asset:Hanna has great speed as a tight end. He ran a 4.49 in the 40-yard dash at the Combine. He is also willing and able to contribute on special teams.

You Should Know:Hanna grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, near Dallas, and was such a big Cowboys fan that when he went off to college at Oklahoma, the checkbook he took with him contained personalized Dallas Cowboys checks.

A Mouthful:"Right now I'm just working on having really solid fundamentals in my techniques, understanding the offense and also contributing to special teams."
