| Just a really steady and tough football player. Explodes off the line of scrimmage and accelerates behind his smaller frame. Impressive route runner and a mismatch for linebackers at the second level. Quicker than all of them. | Where does he fit? His in-line play is affected by his lack of size, and his size prohibits him from being used truly as a wide receiver. Even fullback or H-back would be a tough fit because his blocking is less-than-ready for the NFL. |
OVERVIEW: On the second play from scrimmage against Houston this year, the Utes designed a tight end screen from their own 29-yard line. The play was run on second-and-9, probably to secure a couple of yards and make it third-and-manageable. Instead, Kuithe took it 71 yards for the score, weaving through blockers and leaving defenders in the dust. This is just one of the many instances throughout his six-year career at Utah that'll make him worth the risk late in the draft weekend.
