2026 NFL Draft Offensive Tackle Prospects

The Cowboys have players at this position under contract, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be some changes heading into the season. Left tackle Tyler Guyton hasn’t been able to stay healthy so far in his brief career, missing seven games this past year. A first-round pick in 2024, he has been pegged to be the future left tackle but inconsistency due to injuries and penalties have slowed his progress. While there has been some floating talks of moving him back to right tackle, where he played in college at Oklahoma, Dallas doesn’t appear to be leaning that way this offseason. As for right tackle, Terence Steele remained on the roster heading into March, and Cowboys offensive coordinator Klayton Adams spoke highly of the veteran during the NFL Scouting Combine, stating the team has a plan for Steele as he enters his seventh year. While the Cowboys must address defense in the draft, the one offensive position that would seemingly make sense with either the 12th or 20th pick would be an offensive tackle who is ready to play and could instantly push for a starting job. – Nick Eatman
