The Cowboys obviously didn't meet the team goals for the 2025 season as they've been eliminated from the playoffs with two games to play.
But individually, there were a handful of players who went above and beyond this year, and they've been selected to the Pro Bowl. It marks the 12th consecutive year the Cowboys have had at least five Pro Bowlers.
Dak Prescott heads the list of five Cowboys on the NFC Pro Bowl roster. For Dak it's his fourth Pro Bowl appearance and first since 2023.
George Pickens, who has already set career-highs in catches (88), yards (1,342) and TD catches (nine) in his first season with the Cowboys, has made his first Pro Bowl. He's the only first-time selection in the group.
The rest of the Cowboys Pro Bowlers include guard Tyler Smith, kicker Brandon Aubrey and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, who was traded to the Cowboys in November from the Jets.
Smith and Aubrey have now made the Pro Bowl three years in a row. Aubrey is the first kicker in franchise history to make three straight Pro Bowls. The NFL record is five, set by former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker (2019-2023).
Smith becomes just the third guard in NFL history to earn three Pro Bowl selections by the age of 24, joining former standout Trai Turner and the Colts' Quenton Nelson.
As for Williams, this is his fourth straight Pro Bowl appearance, after three in a row with the Jets. He becomes the first player traded in mid-season to make the Pro Bowl for the Cowboys since Amari Cooper in 2018.
There were some notable omissions for the Cowboys, who saw a couple of Pro Bowl streaks come to an end, at least momentarily. CeeDee Lamb had made four straight Pro Bowls and KaVontae Turpin made the last two as a return specialist.
But even though there is no longer an official game, the Pro Bowl Games is an event that occurs during Super Bowl week, consisting of multiple games and challenges between the NFC and AFC, such as a flag football game on Feb. 3 in San Francisco.
There is a chance for alternates to be added to the teams based off of injuries to the current selected players, and/or players from the participating Super Bowl teams that will be replaced.
Lamb and Turpin would be possible alternates, as would tight end Jake Ferguson and running back Javonte Williams, both of which have had career-highs this season.
