I am Jacob, a 24-year-old bass drummer from Saginaw, Texas. I have been a Cowboys fan for as long as I can remember, and it is so exciting to be a part of the organization.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Management and I work as an Instructional Media Specialist for Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
Drumming has taken me farther than I ever imagined it would when I started in 6th grade. I have toured the country with Crossmen and performed some of the most emotional shows with Vigilantes Indoor Percussion. To be here on America's Team is something far beyond what I ever thought was possible.
I am excited to be back with friends and fans for another year. Let's have another great season!

Number of years on the team: I have been a member of the DCRB Drumline for two and a half years; I joined in the middle of my first season.
Prior Drum/Entertainment Industry Experience: My previous experience includesCrossmen 2014 and Vigilantes Indoor Percussion 2016 and 2017.
Nicknames: My nickname is Jake, but most people call me by my last name, Tilley.
Hometown: I am from Saginaw, Texas. Go SHS!
I drum because: I drum because it's a great way to hang out with friends and do what I am so passionate about in life.
What I like to do most besides drum is: The thing I like to do most besides playing the drums is going hunting and fishing. These are a great escape from city life.
I've always wanted to: I've always wanted to travel to new places and explore different cultures.
Advice to Youngsters: My advice to youngsters is to keep on drumming! I never knew I would be drumming for the Dallas Cowboys when I started in 6th grade.
My biggest role model is: My biggest role model is Jason Witten. He is excellent both on and off the field; just a great person to look up to.
What I enjoy most about being a DCRB Drummer is: My favorite part about being a DCRB Drummer are the friendships made and being able to be a part of America's team!
