The Cowboys last picked twice in Round 1 in 2008, tabbing Felix Jones first and later Mike Jenkins.
would be in the 20s at the earliest anyway, right, so what is the downside? Bad as the Cowboys were in 2010, they have to believe (or at least hope) the 6-10 season was an aberration based on the talent they've already assembled (plus two first-round picks).
We do know that the status quo isn't good enough, and the roster obviously needs upgrading. The sooner, the better.
And after six or seven months of draft talk, really dating back to the point the '10 season became unsalvageable, the first round can't get here fast enough.
