OXNARD, Calif. - The Cowboys and Rams squared off for practice Tuesday in Oxnard, pitting some heated battles between both sides of the ball.

When the first-teamers took the field for a few plays, a notable pair of family members were on opposite sides of the ball. The Rams' star wide receiver Puka Nacua is actually a cousin to Cowboys linebacker Marist Liufau.

The two have strong ties to Hawaii and are both from a Polynesian heritage. After practice, the two spent a few moments on the field chatting, although it's not the first time the two have shared the field, practicing and playing against each other last year as well. That was just one of many storylines from the practice - check out the rest of the news and notes.
