Claire Gilbert enters her seventh season with the Dallas Cowboys as the club's performance dietitian, where she plays a key role in optimizing athletes' nutrition to enhance performance, recovery and overall health.
Gilbert started with the club in 2019 as a dietitian intern before her promotion to performance dietitian in 2021, a role she has held for the past four seasons.
Before landing with the Dallas Cowboys, Gilbert earned her master's degree in nutrition from Samford University. While in graduate school, Gilbert did a rotation with the University of Alabama's men's basketball team.
Gilbert, who was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La., earned her bachelor's degree in nutrition and food sciences from Louisiana State in 2017. During her time at LSU, Gilbert interned as a dietitian with multiple sports programs, including the LSU football program.
Gilbert is a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and an active member with the American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA).
