Klein Kubiak joined the Cowboys personnel department in 2019 as the midwest area scout after spending the previous five years with the Denver Broncos.
For the 2022 season, Kubiak was given the role of national scout and special projects, where he looks at the top college prospects every year to evaluate their potential fit on the team after they have been initially evaluated by the area scout assigned to their region.
Kubiak joined the Broncos in 2014 as a personnel intern, then he was promoted to personnel assistant in 2015. As an assistant, he was charged with evaluating pro prospects and creating advance scouting reports while also scouting colleges in Colorado and Wyoming. From 2016-18, Kubiak served as the Broncos southwest area scout.
Before joining the Broncos, Kubiak lettered four years as a wide receiver at Rice University (2010-13). He was the Houston Texans salary cap intern in the summer of 2012 and a finance intern for the McNair Group in the summer of 2013.
Kubiak finished his prep career at Strake Jesuit High School in Houston where he earned all-district honors in football and baseball. He is the son of long-time NFL coach Gary Kubiak and has two brothers - Seattle Seahawks Offensive Coordinator Klint Kubiak and San Francisco 49ers Offensive Coordinator Klay Kubiak.
