Tyler Boyles will serve as the chief of staff for the Dallas Cowboys in 2025, his first season with the Cowboys under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Boyles' most recent NFL stop was with the Carolina Panthers in 2023. He worked on the offensive side of the ball while also serving as assistant to the head coach under Frank Reich.
Prior to Carolina, Boyles spent the previous three seasons with Reich in Indianapolis (2020-21), first as the assistant to the head coach before becoming the manager of coaching operations (2022).
Before working in the NFL, Boyles spent five years at Middle Tennessee State as the school's offensive quality control coach (2017-19) and as a graduate assistant (2015-16). Prior to that, he was the quarterbacks coach and director of football operations at LaGrange (Ga.) College (2014) and began his coaching career as an offense/football operations intern at Eastern Kentucky (2013).
A graduate of Shawnee State in Ohio, Boyles earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics while he also played guard on the basketball team. He finished ninth all-time in scoring in program history and was voted team captain for two years. He completed multiple master's degrees, first from Eastern Kentucky (sports administration) and then Middle Tennessee State (strategic leadership). A native of Raceland, Ky., Boyles and his wife, Bethany, have two daughters, Emma and Molly.
