Bailey Has Rare Two Misses, Still Accounts For Nearly Half The Cowboys' Points

ARLINGTON, Texas – Dan Bailey hadn't missed two field goals in one game since his 2011 rookie season – the only time that's ever happened previously in the 2015 Pro Bowl kicker's career.

Both of Bailey's misses in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were from beyond 50 yards (56, 52).

The first?

"I didn't strike it like I wanted to," he said.

The second?

"I feel like I struck it well," he said. "The (kicking) operation was good. Just pulled it a little bit.

"My standard is just much higher than that. So obviously I'm disappointed individually but I think the most important thing is we won. It was a good team win."

Bailey did successfully kick four field goals, including three that accounted for all of the Cowboys' points in the fourth quarter, to bring his season total to 25-of-30. The four conversions were from 27, 40, 38 and 33 yards.
