'Boys Want Bailey To Keep Doing His Thing

Two weeks, an icing timeout called from either sideline. Two missed field goals and another one blocked, and the Cowboys losing both things. Dan Bailey has seen better days this season, a lot of them, actually.

With that in mind, the Cowboys want to make sure their rookie kicker isn't sweating the misfortune that has hit him over the last two games.

The team believes Bailey is a mentally tough player who should deal well with pressure and adversitu.

"I think he's shown that throughout the year," coach Jason Garrett said. "He's made a lot of big kicks for us, game-winning kicks. So the biggest thing that we tell him is keep doing what you're doing. Go out there with that real clean approach that you take from a technical standpoint and also from a mental standpoint, and just go do your job.

"He actually kicked the one that got blocked really, really well. The way we looked at it was he kicked it probably better than he kicked the first one."

Bailey is now 31-of-35 for the year.
