"Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team" – Episode 12: Time's Up

1312 03

It's week nine of training camp, there are 40 girls left, and cuts must be made for a final squad of 36. A week and a half remains until the first Dallas Cowboys football game, so the clock is ticking on the final cuts.

Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell hold a full game day rehearsal inside Ford Center at The Star in Frisco. It's basically a mock game day to see who they would be willing to put out on the field at AT&T Stadium in just a few short days.

The group leaders are also put through a test during the game day rehearsal. Kelli and Judy have them go out individually with their groups, they play a totally random song and then have just a few seconds to choose choreography that works well with that song. This is a true game day test because DJ EJ could play a song at any given moment at AT&T Stadium and the girls have to be on their toes.

Training camp heads to AT&T Stadium for another full game day rehearsal. Kelli and Judy will be looking for power, projection, and showmanship on the field. Not to mention, they have the big screens to look at too for any possible imperfection. But much like the rest of the season, everyone is bringing their 'A' game, making decisions for Kelli and Just nearly impossible.

By the end of the episode, two cuts are made, and I can tell you that they are by far the most emotional ones of the season.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team airs Thursday nights at 10/9c on CMT.
