Davis Provides Power, Durability On The Right Side

Name: Leonard Davis
Position: Guard
Height/Weight: 6-6, 353
Experience: Eight Seasons
College: Texas
Contract Status: Signed through 2011 season.
Honor Roll: Two-time Pro Bowl selection in 2007, 2008.
Key stat: 123 - Davis has started all 123 games of his eight-year NFL career, including the last 32 here with the Cowboys. That kind of durability is crucial to the offensive line, where cohesiveness is so valued.

Writers Analysis:
Nick Eatman: After being labeled a "bust" because he wasn't an All-Pro left tackle in his first six seasons in Arizona, Leonard Davis has not only found a home with the Cowboys but a stable position as well. Guard is Davis' natural spot and where he should've been playing all along. However, the Cardinals just couldn't justify taking him with the No. 2 overall pick in 2001 and putting him at guard. But despite giving him a $49.5 million deal in 2007, the Cowboys have no problems playing him at right guard. And in two seasons, he's earned every penny.
