In the Cowboys' fourth Super Bowl appearance, the defense didn't take it easy on a familiar face, dominating the Craig Morton-led Broncos from start to finish.

Morton, who had once battled Roger Staubach for the starting job earlier in the decade, led Denver to the Super Bowl but was harassed all day long. The Broncos turned the ball over eight times and Randy White and Harvey Martin provided the heavy pressure, leading to the duo winning Co-MVP.

Dallas had a long touchdown from Staubach to Butch Johnson and then a game-clinching score when fullback Robert Newhouse surprised the Broncos with a touchdown pass to Golden Richards.

Take a closer look at the entire story of the 1977 Cowboys and their journey to the Super Bowl.
