Notes: Teaching the Packers A (History) Lesson

Sack Artist?
Until Sunday night, intercepting passes has always been cornerback Anthony Henry's thing. Against Green Bay, however, Henry suddenly became a sack machine. The Cowboys knew they had to do everything possible to pressure first-year starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and sometimes that meant bringing a cornerback on a blitz. Several times it was Henry leaving the tight end he normally covers on the dime defense when he moves inside, and coming on a blitz.

Two Help Replace Williams
Evidently it takes two people to replace a five-time Pro Bowl safety. Roy Williams broke his forearm in last week's game and is scheduled to miss two-to-three more weeks following surgery to insert a plate into his arm.

Short Shots
The Cowboys are 3-0 for the second straight season and the 15th time in franchise history . . . It's the first time since 1977 the Cowboys started a year 3-0 in consecutive years . . . Marion Barber is now tied with Dan Reeves for 10th place on the club's all-time list for rushing attempts with 535 . . . Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware extended his career-best of six straight games with a sack, dating back to last season. The club record is 11, set by Harvey Martin in 1976-77.
