FRISCO, Texas – Pro Bowl guard Zack Martin (sprained knee) is making progress but is not expected to practice Wednesday, head coach Jason Garrett said.

Martin missed the first game of his career last Sunday against Indianapolis and rookie Connor Williams started in his place.

The Cowboys (8-6) host Tampa Bay (5-9) this Sunday at AT&T Stadium. A win would clinch the NFC East for Dallas.

"He's as tough as they come," Garrett said of Martin, "so he's going to give himself every chance as we go. Today he'll just be working on the side."

Garrett said starting guard Xavier Su'a-Filo's eye injury is improving, though it remains to be seen how much practice he'll get Wednesday. Su'a-Filo hurt his eye on a fourth-down play in the second quarter against the Colts and did not return.

Tight end Geoff Swaim (wrist) and defensive lineman David Irving (ankle) remain out of practice due to injury.

Cornerback C.J. Goodwin (injured reserve) returned to practice, starting a three-week window for the Cowboys to evaluate his progress before they must decide whether to activate him or keep him on IR for the rest of the season.
