| Runs things up front, picking up blitzes and reading the defense. Moves well side to side and possesses steady footwork. Passes the “heavy hands, light feet” test. Team captain and the ultimate teammate. | Biggest question will be how will he return from the torn ACL he suffered last October? Balance struggled at times even before the injury. Played tough, but strength couldn’t stand up to stronger defensive tackles. |
OVERVIEW: If it wasn't for a season-ending ACL injury, Lew would be talked about in a different light after the college career he put together at Auburn. It was clear from the beginning that he was destined to be on the big stage. Lew was named a Freshman All-American despite only starting six games during his debut campaign. However, he did not allow a sack in over 230 pass-blocking snaps at center. After winning the starting job, he never looked back, totaling 12 starts as a sophomore and seven as a junior before the injury.
