PRO CON
Good size and length for the position and uses it well. Extremely strong hands that are jarring for defenders and tough to recover from. Feet are also quick to adjust when getting a little out of sorts. Outstanding teammate. Not a great mover. Really labors when traveling laterally and needs a ramp-up period to hit full speed. Not explosive off the line of scrimmage, which leads to low pad levels at times. Better in pass protection than as a run blocker.

OVERVIEW: Nwaiwu went from being a walk-on at North Texas to an All-SEC honoree. He made his value known early by playing multiple positions, but ultimately earned the starting right guard job with the Mean Green in 2022. He was named a Conference USA All-Freshman Team member that season and returned to play both right tackle and right guard the next year. Following the 2023 season, he then entered the transfer portal, choosing Oklahoma and starting 16 straight for the Sooners, which included 505 snaps without a sack in 2025.
