| Only allowed one sack in over 600 pass-blocking snaps these last two seasons. Mirrors well in pass protection and is stout at the point of attack. Reads a defense well pre-snap and moves to the next level quickly. | His arm length (30.75 inches) measures in the bottom ninth percentile, and he also weighs 299 pounds. Meaning he’ll struggle with functional play strength against the more powerful defensive tackles. |
OVERVIEW: Anchored by Jones, Iowa was honored as the top offensive line unit in the nation for 2025, winning the Joe Moore Award. Individually, he was also the winner of the Rimington Trophy as the nation's best center, along with being named a consensus All-American. Three-time All-Big Ten, all-state in high school, the accolades just line up. However, with a smaller build than most NFL centers, he'll have to defy the measurements, just as others like the 6-foot-2, 296-pound former Hawkeye Tyler Linderbaum has done.
